Our Story

It all started in a small garage back in 2005. Our founders were car audio enthusiasts who were frustrated with the lack of quality subwoofers available. After countless late nights of tinkering and testing, they created the first Seventour® prototype that outperformed everything else they had tried.

Word quickly spread in car audio circles about this new brand that delivered earth-shaking bass without distortion. Seventour® Subwoofers were winning sound-off competitions left and right. As demand grew, we moved out of the garage into a true manufacturing facility and never looked back.

Over the years, we have continued to push the limits of subwoofer technology. Our engineering team is obsessed with squeezing out every last decibel while maintaining crystal clarity. We go through an exhaustive development process testing dozens of parameters to optimize cone materials, surrounds, spider assemblies, motor strength, cooling efficiency and more.

Meanwhile, our designers focus on crafting subs that are as beautiful as they are powerful. We want to create installations that our customers are proud to show off. Our Stealth Series features sleek, low-profile subs made specifically for stealth installs in luxury and high-performance vehicles.

Our Process

Every Seventour® subwoofer and amplifier is proudly built at our California manufacturing facility. We design, test and assemble them in-house to ensure rigid quality control. Here’s a look at our process:

Research and Development

Our engineering team is constantly testing the latest technologies and techniques to improve our subs. We examine every component – from the ideal gauge of tinsel leads to cutting edge cone materials – in our quest for perfect bass. This R&D allows us to set new standards in low frequency response.

Computer Modeling

We use advanced CAD software suites to model every new iteration of our woofers. We can simulate hundreds of parameters to analyze electromagnetic flux, excursion, thermal power handling and much more – all before ever firing up a CNC machine. This modeling allows us to have new designs perfected before the first prototype.

In-House Testing

Even with all the computer modeling, the proof is in the pudding. We thoroughly test every prototype in specialized acoustic chambers to analyze and tune the frequency response. Listening tests are also performed by experts and enthusiasts to provide essential real-world feedback. This vital testing process ensures every Seventour® sub meets our strict standards.

Quality Components

We source premium components from trusted brands like JBL, Corning and Vishay. By using quality materials from voice coil wire to capacitors, our subs achieve high fidelity and reliability. We take no shortcuts here.

Hand Assembly

While high-tech machinery plays a key role, final assembly is done by experienced technicians. Their keen eyes make sure every gasket is perfectly seated and each solder joint is pristine. This human attention to detail ensures a finely crafted product.

Rigorous Testing

Before any subwoofer leaves our facility, it undergoes brutal benchmark stress testing. We drive them hard and measure parameters like frequency response and distortion over time.
